There is a treasure chest of special gifts within each of us. Each gift is unique and valuable. I call these special gifts Natural Genius. I see them as sacred reflections of the Divine – each of us a piece of a larger puzzle contributing to the whole in our own unique inimitable manner. I sometimes refer to it as “Best Work.”
Defining one’s Natural Genius can be challenging because it is so incredibly simple that we think everyone can do it. In fact, one way to identify your gift is to observe where you think others are a bit slow or unconscious because they can’t see what’s so obvious! Other identifying characteristics of this gift are:
ease – It’s so simple and obvious to you
on target – others acknowledge your ability
serves everyone – when you put this gift to work everyone benefits, including you
Innate trait – can’t help doing it, can’t NOT do it
Intense concentration – can spend lots of time and attention focusing on the task
subtle – can be difficult to identify due to its subtleties
Invisible – takes place on the inner plane
new – never before recognized or identified
